Day 1. Saturday. Bogotá

Arrival at Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport (BOG) and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation at Radisson Metrotel Hotel.

Day 2. Sunday. Bogotá: City Tour & Monserrate

Breakfast at the hotel. At 07:30, pick-up from the hotel lobby to begin the panoramic tour of Bogotá’s historic center, also called “La Candelaria.” During the tour, you will visit the Gold Museum, where you can view nearly 34,000 pre-Hispanic gold pieces and over 25,000 pre-Columbian objects. Next, we will visit the House of Money and the Botero Donation, which showcases works by the internationally recognized Colombian artist Fernando Botero in various artistic techniques such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. We continue our panoramic tour through the Bolívar Square area (The Primada Cathedral, The Casa de Nariño, The Liévano Palace, and The Palace of Justice). As you look up from any point in the city, you will inevitably see the hill that watches over Bogotá from 3,152 meters above sea level. Monserrate is the quintessential symbol of Bogotá, not only as a natural landmark but also for its religious significance. Its sanctuary has been visited by millions of pilgrims and travelers since its founding in 1640. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 3. Monday. Bogotá: Visit to Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral (Optional)

Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00 am, pick-up from the hotel lobby. Departure to the town of Zipaquirá, located 50 km from Bogotá in the northern part of the city, also known as the “Sabana de Bogotá.” Once in town, you will admire the Salt Cathedral, built within a mine 180 meters deep, considered one of Colombia's most important wonders and a major feat of engineering and religious art.

Duration: 5 hours

Includes: Transportation, Spanish-speaking guide, entrance to the Salt Cathedral, and medical assistance card.

Does not include: Lunch, expenses, and unspecified consumption. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Cartagena.
